I believe the West should have uninvited Putin weeks ago, following his illegal annexation of Crimea, and when it was manifest he had no intention of abiding by the so-called ‘agreement’ to back off in East Ukraine.

Despite widespread criticism, Russian aggression and intimidation have continued. Indeed, so toxic are relations between him and Barack Obama, that the President of France, Francois Hollande, is having to hold two separate dinners in one evening so the two men don’t meet.

I trust the Queen will also be kept away from this thug, on whose orders a British citizen, Alexander Litvinenko, was murdered (after being poisoned with polonium) in London in 2006, a crime for which no one has been brought to trial.
